''Timeless'' is jazz guitarist John Abercrombie's debut album as leader, recorded in 1974.
==Overview==
Abercrombie has said: "The original intent was to do something that reflected my origins, playing with organ groups in the late 60's". The album was recorded with Jack DeJohnette on drums and Jan Hammer on Hammond organ.
In 2004, Black Milk sampled Timeless for the Slum Village track "Reunion (ft. J Dilla)" on the album ''Detroit Deli.''
In 2011, Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer used samples of ''Timeless'' for the track "Retimeless" on the remix album ''Re:ECM''.
